My photography seeks to reveal the hidden narratives that lie beneath the surface of the visible world. I communicate through silence and suggestion, aiming to provoke the deep, often unspoken emotions within the viewer. I watched the dark shape drift underwater—an object synonymous in art with concealment and mystery. A mask hides the face, and in doing so, can veil one's true identity, thoughts, and desires from the world. Water, similarly, is a profound cover; it can obscure life, time, and history, creating a boundless, separate realm. To dive beneath the surface with a mask is to enter a state of isolated freedom. It is a retreat from the real world into an infinite, interior space where suppressed feelings and hidden selves can be released. These photos are intended as windows into that submerged, private world—inviting the audience to look not only into the water but into the depths within themselves.
